After graduating in 2007 from La James College in Cedar Falls, she worked there for 3 years before coming to Carroll and finding her home. With 19 years of experience, Kara has been transforming looks and building confidence at Promesing Image for the past 6 years. Kara offers a wide range of hair services: balayages, foilayages, babylights, special event updos, but her favorite services are extensions and color.
Outside the salon, Kara stays busy and active with her twin girls, Stella and Sofia, and her son, Sawyer, and her partner Jeremy. Whether attending her kids’ activities, enjoying a run or a walk, or out on the golf course, she’s always on the go!
Kara also specializes in cuts, spray tans, and Brazilian Blowouts, giving her clients that fresh, polished look they love. Her favorite part of the job? She loves working alongside her talented fellow stylists- which she considers her second family- and ensures that every client leaves the salon with a smile and renewed confidence.
